Cycle Event - New Ninety Niner 2010!

The 12th annual 99er Cycle Race is scheduled for Saturday, February 13th 2010, when many of the country’s cyclists will face new challenges through the heart of the Durbanville Winelands.
The 99er 2010 race sees the dawn of a new era with venue and race routes changing. Starting from the picturesque Durbanville Race Course, participating cyclists will have 3 scenic routes to choose from: 108km, 64km, and 28km routes. Not that there will be much time for sightseeing as the new routes require lots of concentration & endurance to outlast, outwit & outcycle the other competitors through the meandering hills of Durbanville. Unlike the plain flat routes of previous years, the new routes are much more challenging to the cyclist’s skill & endurance levels, yet offering breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula, passing through Durbanville tourist attractions.
